Practice tests — The Values and Principles of the UK

British values, individual rights and the responsibilities every new resident is expected to respect and uphold.

Below are 5 free practice tests built entirely from questions classified under this handbook chapter. Each test mirrors the multiple-choice format of the real exam and includes a written explanation under every answer so you learn while you practise.

We recommend taking one practice test per study session, then re-reading the chapter study notes for any topic you got wrong. Repeat until you can comfortably score 22/25 or better — at that point you are ready to move on to a timed mock test.

Why practise by chapter?

The official exam draws questions from every chapter of the handbook and mixes them up at random. Practising one chapter at a time helps you isolate weaknesses — if you keep failing dates from the Tudor period, for example, you can re-read that section without grinding through unrelated material. Once your single-chapter scores are strong, switch to mixed-chapter mock tests so you are not caught off guard on test day.
